I'm in the autobody industry. Try this, seeing as the top is off the car: Lay the whole window/cloth assembly on a table. Take a razorblade and completely scrape the window clean of old glue where it has seperated from the cloth. Mask off your window with masking tape where you don't want the urethane to get all over. Get yourself a tube of 3M window urethane that will fit in a regular homeowner's caulking gun. You should be able to buy this at any window installation place. Wear rubber gloves, because if the urethanne gets on your hands, your hands will stay stained black for a week where it made contact. Squeeze some out and make sure you get enough to make sure there are no uncovered areas where the two make contact. Kinda just place the top material back down on the glass applying even pressure. It shouldn't really require it to have a weight on it while it dries, but I suppose it couldn't hurt. The next day when all is dry, remove the masking tape, and take a razorblade and slice away any extra urethane that got where you didn't want it. Windex it up and you should be good to go for a couple more years. Good Luck! Bob
