all . Use nitrile or latex disposable gloves . Many mechanics use them these days . Gas . oil , and harsh chemicals all come with warnings about prolonged contact with skin as a health hazard . The companies that sell these substances only warn you of the minimum precautions to avoid getting sued so if they are saying its a health risk it probably is .
Your skin is the largest organ in your body , is permeable to many chemicals and has limitations of how much abuse it can take before it malfunctions (cancer) . I'm willing to bet that scrubbing bubbles bathtub cleaner has a caution about skin contact . Subjecting your skin to hydrocarbons and then harsh cleaning chemicals is a double assault . Taking off disposable gloves is also about 50 times easier and faster than having to clean hands with whatever .
