Well I have cut a vert apart Posted by SaabStalker [Email] (#1098) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SaabStalker) on Sat, 3 Nov 2012 12:50:59 In Reply to: I haven't done this, but a couple of things to be..., Baggsly [Profile/Gallery] , Sat, 3 Nov 2012 00:05:30 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have several verts and because they are in good condition I had a couple other rust free ones I sectioned apart. So yes the reverse is true. They can be rewelded via a mig welder. Question is why? Why not find a good rust free vert and keep yours for spare parts. Also I got stuck with a 89 vert I really did not want. The guy was a saab novice and I saw his car by the road and left a note offering help. I got him running a couple of times, but eventuall he asked if I wanted to buy it I said no I already had too many LOL. He had to move so I got it for $500. trouble is he was moving and I never got the registration and couild never find him again so it's another donor car.
