I have a 1989 turbo with very complete service records. The service records show the OE -- 570 ECU died in April of 2003 and a new 570 ECU was installed. This ECU looks quite different than the silver 1989 ones. It has a black case with a silver label. The Saab part # is: 88 26 075. The Bosch # is: 280 000 570. It only has about 50K miles on it Did Bosch fix the failure problem on these later ECU's ?
