Been struggling with intermittent Cruise on my '93 900T and '93 900S for a couple years. Picked up a used ECU off a '92 at Pick N Pull. Same problem. Here is the fix: Pull the ECU from behind the kick panel on driver's side. Carefully open the metal tabs and slide the circuit board out of the metal can and remove the plastic plug cover. Support the circuit board on a cookie sheet with a couple wads of tin foil so it is not touching the sheet. Pre-heat your oven to 375 - 400˚F (190-200˚C) and bake the circuit board for 10 minutes, pull it out and let it cool off. Replace into the can and re-install it in the car. A common problem is cold or cracked solder joints. Baking it re-solders all the joints with minimal impact and time spent. Worked like a charm for me!
Cheers!
