I want to update this thread. Specs on line pressure for my car call for 65-69 psi. Doing some research, a circa 1978-81 Volvo 240 calls for 64-75 psi line pressure. I can get an accumulator for a Volvo 240 for $66.00, part # ending in 007. It looks as though the line pressures are close enough for a match. Seems to be quite alot of overlap in the psi.Furthermore, it seems as though Volvo plumbed a "leakage" line from the vent on the accumulator to the gas tank. I guess they anticipated if there was a leak in the accumulator, it would leak into the tank! One of the better Volvo ideas in my opinion. I work as a Volvo tech, so I can assure you that this was one of their better ideas! I think it would be a good idea to run a leakage line on the Saab also. I am just not sure where to plumb it in at. I can run a rubber line between the accumulator up into the spare tire area on the right side where the filler neck passes thru. Somewhere here seems to be a good place to splice in a t fitting or similair into the hose strapped to the filler neck unless this is tied into the evap system. Anyway, I will update this again.
