Capitalism is what we are outsourcing. We have overspent and yes sent many jobs to parts of the world, cause labor is cheaper. In doing so it has allowed our Nation to borrow the money from others especially China. Also the benefits to this are dangerously balanced against another country owning our debt. I don't know the answer to lost jobs. I do think the practice of buying from China reduces direct warfare possibilities. The down side to China is increased pollution, increased populous awareness of freedom and the need for lots of new stuff. The Chinese sure did buy up a lot of junkyards to build their skyscrapers. Anyway what we hope for is a springback for their consumption of our goods here read cars, natural gas, etc. The higher cost for transportation due to deisel costs has already caused some companies to return jobs to the U.S. as shipping costs have increased. Maybe soon you can buy a pair of visegrips from Nebraska after all when we lost the steel industry we and the world lost high quality high quantity steel. I wonder if thats what I have in my 7 Saabs. We are the best , we will pass every test and in doing so just as in WWll we shall rise to be a nation that can do anything. Maybe soon the rest of the world will remember what Americans did in WWll. Chana was also such an allie as was VN, THE FRENCH, and others. Japan was not conquered by us, nor us by Japan. We have lots of cars being built right here from Japan. Yes TODAY is 7 December lest the world forget Pearl Harbor Day.
