EEOW (European enthusiasts of Wisco) meets Wednesday nights at 7:30 at Glass Nickel Pizza on Atwood Ave. Mostly VW people, but there are a couple of us Saabers (who also own VWs) who go there. Nothing formal, just a bunch of us who wrench om the cars, go to scrapyards, etc.
Arabiflora is correct, having good front shocks (and bushings) really makes the car smoother! Mine was really pounding on that lower mount. I have a feeling that this is how the shock mounts on control arms can break.
