Well, it's time (again) to replace my crank sensor. I last did this on my '90 (base model) about 11 or 12 yrs ago, so I don't recall exactly what I did. :-) I do remember that I replaced the alternator bushings at that time, so I'm going to do that again this time.
Which leads me to my question:
Can I bump the starter if I've disconnected (& removed) the alternator from the car?
Alternatively, I found a post by Anders (linked below) where he mentions a hole under the throttle body for inserting a 1/2" socket extension to lock the flywheel, but that was on an auto tranny. Is this also an option for a manual tranny?
