Dear Landy,
Although I'm eager to question you about how CMyles got that shutter wheel on which you promised to get back to me a year ago, but I'll try not to do that and instead explain why you think you smell some 8V smell from that photo.
The truth is that you do not. You do not smell the actual smell - or better say, the reference smell - but you smell the harmonic smell of a 8V. Actually, it is the 14th harmonic that you smell: 2x 6 C900's (all of which are 16Vs, hence the 2x factor since 16 = 2x 8) + 2x 1 for the RAM (which to my belief runs on the LA heart) = 2x 7 = 14. It's all because the photo wasn't taken with some old-school warmy tubie analogous film Kodak Instamatic, but with a cold transistor-driven Canon Powershot. As you may have heard, old warm analogous tubes (and films) suppress high harmonics while cold transistors and those CMOS's and CCD's emphasize them.
In other words, if one (and we both know who it is) posts a photo of Dominator 99 engine, then it will smell to you as a single 8V B201 should the photo be taken with a film camera (assuming that that film emphasizes the 2nd harmonic: 2 (cylinders) x 2 (valves per cylinder for the Dominator 99 engine) x 2 (harmonic order) = 8; 8 / 8 = 1) or as seven 8V B201 engines (2 (cylinders) x 2 (valves per cylinder for the Dominator 99 engine) x 14 (the emphasized harmonic order for Powershot digital camera) = 56; 56 / 8 = 7) if the photo is taken with that cold-hearted soulless digital Powershot.
Hope this helps.
Zig
