3M vinyl wrap for the dash. I got some regular vinyl from Hancock's. The material was too thick for the application. By too thick I mean 1/32 inch. For example the air vent on the passenger side has very a tight tolerance. It was impossible for me to get it seated correctly after attaching the fabric vinyl. I think the 3M would be thin enough. I'm not sure how it will adhere but am confident it can stand the heat of summer in the car. Perhaps it will also stop the cracks from spreading. It also comes in many colors.
PS I bought a dash from a site member that has been "repaired" with bed liner and it has already started to crack. That is clearly not the solution if RF has had the same problem.
