Yupper....Robbie was first violinist in the high school orchestra -- I was in the horn section with all the other criminals....well, he was first violinist since he picked one up. His father was a clarinet professor at KU as I recall. If I shot something across the street, I would hit Naismith's house where he died ( inventor of Basketball ) and then it would carom off and hit Robbie's house. Tommy Stephenson was from Ottawa, KS and played in Poco, Blondie Chaplin, Paul Butterfield, Gary Wright and a ton of other bands. His cousin Stanley Sheldon was bass for Peter Frampton at the pinnacle, and a host of other bands, and is now in Nashville probably doing studio work. My favorite show probably of all time was when I was working for played prior to Little Feat at the KU Union, and then partied with them until it was sunrise....as Lowell George would say....."an all night satellite" .......one of the reasons he isn't with us anymore :-( He didn't know it was time to stop......how on earth someone could do that much dumbdust and still be 300 pounds....
