Fellas,
here in EU - and especially in Mordor - plenty of C900's do not feature air conditioning and have cabin air filter instead. And then there are worn sealings and shabby fasteners which all lead to the issue when it is the hot air from the engine compartment which goes into the cabin, not the ambient air. And if you have a leaking dizzy right over the freaking hot turbo housing then you do understand what I'm talking about (for those who do not: it smells awful). That was #1 reason I jumped onto Trionic - a plug has no internal seals to leak; dizzy plug is the only real solution for a leaking dizzy.
And here's the solution I've found: rivet(ing) nut or whatever you call it there over the seas. Just don't forget to put on a washer (intake housing is made of plastic, not metal) which must be of stainless steel. You might have to bore the washer out so the nut tightly fits in (in my case I used M6 nuts with 9mm outer dia so I had to use M8 washers and bore them out to 9mm).
Then you can put on some new foam onto the filter housing or build your own DIY sealing with silicone sealant, but good fastening is #1 to be done.
Zig
P.S.
About the same mod can be done about headlights in order to give up stock screws for proper orthodox bolts (although w/o any extra washers):

yes, I like allen-head bolts. Click here to see more about rivet(ing) nut in plastic housing
