Unless you're prepared to leave it there if it breaks down. When My dad and brother rode there on motorcycles they had to ship tires there before they left. If Honda dealers don't have tires for Goldwings in stock, what do you think the situation is on C900 parts? Everything has to be shipped from long distances, costs a lot and takes a lot of time--weeks. A quart of milk is hard to get and costs accordingly. Hotels are booked solid and expensive--they only have a two month season. Believe me you don't want to be stuck somewhere for three weeks waiting for parts--the cost of lodging would far exceed the value of the car, if you can even find a room. Finally, breaking down in some remote place in Alaska isn't a joke, it can cost you your life if you aren't well prepared.
