Beryl Green, Talladega Red and Edwardian Grey were the exclusive colors to the US-market SPGs. Remember, too, that SPGs are ONLY 3-door combi coupes. The only color that was shared with non-SPG 900s was black.
Note that these colors could be seen on later (92-) Convertibles (T. Red & B. Green), and 9000s (all, IIRC).
But Simon is right. The only definitive way was to run the VIN by Saab, who could give you the internal "model designation" that sales used.
