while the transmission is separated from the engine have the case COMPLETELY resealed. There is nothing more aggravating than finding out the transmission has a slow seeping leak after it is installed.
When i had my 85T engine/transmission out for major repairs and updates I thought I had replaced every possible seal that could be in need of replacing, only to find out later that I had neglected to reseal the transmission case-halves. The only leak on the entire car! leave a small drip wherever I park it, And I have to routinely top of the MTL every 700 miles or so. DOH!
E euro parts has a listing for complete transmission reseal kit. I purchased one to have ready in the event that i get a chance to reseal it again someday, but it may not be readily available (back-order or special request order from Scan Tech).
