HG, brakes, and clutch are all things that are expected to be replaced, especially for a 22yr old car.
Brakes would be on any car, and a clutch is easy on a c900 compared to an VW/Audi for example…no engines need to be pulled, etc.
HG just ain't nowhere near as bad as you'd think. but yes,your observations clearly demonstrate bad things happening to the HG…
One thing at a time…patience. these are great summer cars (and better as winter cars, but I digress) and are totally worth repairing if frame is not rusted to crap.
keep it, love it, fix it, and above all else, rip it like it's rally car heritage meant it to be driven.
