You can feel the ground effects at about 80 or so, and then the car plants itself stable up to 160mph. That's the fastest I've driven on a one mile straight when the car set a land speed record in Ohio. Solid as a rock at that speed with an air dam up front, and a little skittish without it at high speed. If you plan to go 140mph, I would get an air dam to keep the air from underneath the car, and make sure you have the suspension lowered as well. Having said that, you'll never get that fast without a turbo the size of a waste basket and extra fuel.
