I'll be doing that same test soon on the 91 TC... as recommended by Zig the genius in Russia.
My condition….light braking, no swerving, straight stopping. However with a HARD braking event, the car swerves (feels like the rear, but I totally rebuilt the rear brakes/shocks and have the same exact condition).
Zig (Seigfreid) said to pull the fuse on the ABS brain, which is under the backseat. This of course will disable the ABS and if the swerve vanishes, viola.
BTW, I get a quick flash of the ANTI LOCK yellow light, only 1/2 second, when my car swerves.
Pull that fuse, retest and report back!
