The object is to have the valve cover/crank case always under vacuum. The PVC hose hooked to the turbo intake is the one to give it negative draw while the motor goes under boost, but while the motor is at idle the hose running to the intake manifold with the check valve becomes the source of the negative draw while the inlet air through the PVC hose cancels itself out with such low draw of air from it.
