Hi Justin - Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated. Actually, I went through some of my old records and I got the car in 2002, so I've had it for 12 years now. I believe the tranny was rebuilt in 2004. The harmonic balancer was replaced I think in 2012. And I had the water pump replaced in 2011 and the hoses were checked and replaced as necessary I believe including all of the belts for the alternator/water pump etc. The same guy has been working on the car - i THOUGHT he was doing a decent job - the car generally runs fine - but you think perhaps it was a crappy tranny rebuild? Thanks ago for the info.
