I think it'll get a new lease on life! Other than the engine knocking & smoking, the car drives beautifully. The only rust I've found is the on gas filler door, a little under the door sills (solid with no holes), the inner bottoms of the doors (I've replaced that metal before), and one 4-5" area of surface rust in the trunk. The transmission is perfect. The white paint seems all original and dirty. I washed the right rear quarter panel, then clay-barred it, used 3M Imperial Hand Glaze, and finished with a couple coats of Liquid Glass. Very nice! The maroon (C33 Trim Code) interior is very nice, the carpet is excellent without holes. Came with a new looking set of the OEM black rubber mats. Headliner was redone very nicely in maroon. Overall, the thing is really nice.
I've never removed an engine from a C900, but I guess I'll learn. The car is easily worth it. Not sure about what to do with Airflow stuff yet, but I have plenty of SPG panels in stock if I need them. Vern
