Hello . I put my 88 spg back on the road today and the brake line which I knew did not look too good blew out . Its the metal line that goes to the passenger side rear wheel . Quite a bit of brake fluid got on the plastic gas tank and a good amount of it is where I can't get at it to clean . Does any one know if these tanks' material would be mostly unharmed by brake fluid ? I know brake fluid is corrosive , but I also know from having c900s for 30 years that these tanks are tough (I've never had to repair or replace a tank). Has anyone had brake fluid on their tank that they were unable to remove ?
