bodies and transmissions less so.
If I were you (and if you have time to do it), I would look for yet another one with a good motor and tranny but rusted to pieces. To fix the tranny in the CE you need to pull the motor anyway. Whether you put that in your 93 vert or save it for the CE, that's up to you. Any turbo motors (at least in the recent cars) should work fine in either car - a later tranny would be preferred thoguh.
I would not send a CE with a good body to the crusher. Many of these are rusting to pieces in the north east! If the body is spectacular, you might even be able to find a buyer willing to ship the CE body to the salt belt (where many owners have good mechanicals but rusted bodies).
