Hydraulic line tools

I made some new tools to torque the oil cooler line and clutch slave hydraulic line attachment nuts to spec on my 1991 turbo.
Bought a 5/8" 12 point deep socket for the oil cooler lines and a 13mm 12 point deep (3") socket for the clutch hydraulic line.
Used a grinder to grind a lengthwise slot into each socket, long enough to accommodate the hydraulic line before the curve (2.5" for the 13mm clutch line). I then ground out a wider section into each socket near the curve of the line so that I can turn the socket while it fits over the hydraulic line. I had to take care not to make the slots too large, just large enough.
Link to pic attached.
Now I can attach my smaller torque wrench and get it right even though I don't have the feel that comes with experience. If I read my Bentley manual correctly, it calls for 6-10 Nm on the clutch hydraulic line and 7-10 Nm on the oil cooler lines. Not a lot of torque, so I think the tools should work nicely when I get my engine and tranny back from ScanWest in Seattle.
Nothing satisfies more than making your own special tool.
