This may be similar to phil94028's issue, below.
Try the easy solution first: take it off and giving the inside a thorough spray-down with carb cleaner. The AIC valves tend to get sticky (even the ones on non-turbos). When that happens, it throws the whole control dynamic off and you get porpoising idle like you describe.
Let us know if that doesn't help significantly. We can go onto the next step in the diagnosis procedure.
