Do a complete Ignition tune up with new NGK BCP7ES spark plugs gapped to .26, Bougicords, Cap and Rotor. Even if the present components seem OK, this is the first step to sort it out, easy job for any BYM and not expensive. Then insure timing is correct. This will likely fix stumbling under moderate accel at 2500-3000 rpm.
If not, time to move on to other stuff. Check your O2 sensor according to Bentley. Leaks in the intake plumbing can be hard to find. Remove the AMM and hook up the pressure side of a shop vac to the intake hose and squirt soapy water from a spray bottle on all the connections and you will find any leaks, even small ones in the intake manifold/vacuum plumbing. If that is all good, start swapping known good AMM, IAC, etc. Good Luck!
