Hi there

I have a 2 problems with the interior heat in my '93 900S. The car had a leaky heater core when I got it last winter, and this Fall I replaced the heater core, heater valve, thermostat, along with a few heater hoses and changed the heater hoses to the older design from a 1980's 900 to provide proper heat. All parts are brand new and bought from an independent Saab shop. At the same time the heat gasket was done. So lots of money was spent to make things great. All the work was performed by a Saab Grand Master with over 25 years of just Saab experience. Now my problems. First is the heat level is not as much as should be. The second is very perplexing. The passenger side of the car is much warmer then the driver;s side. The driver's side defroster vent has loses heat unless it is on the defroster setting. When it is on the setting that sends heat on the defrost and the floor ( 2 small arrows up and down), the driver;s side defrost is luke warm at best while the passenger side has warm air. Also, the ONLY heat I get for the driver;s side is from the fixed side window vent. The defrost, and driver's side side vent is luke warm. There is a small amount from the floor for me. If the temp is below freezing, I can drive for long periods on the highway WITHOUT moving the temp control. Anything selected below say 3/4 to half way on the temp dial will turn the heat in the car lukewarm. The coolant has been flushed, 2 different makes of thermostats ( the hottest one available), the coolant level is fine, and the gauge rises and falls normally. The heater valve turns on and off. The heater hoses under the hood are very hot to the touch. The heater valve operation, coolant , thermostat temps, flaps, pods have all been checked from what I have been told by the same Grand Master. I have had two Saab Masters look at it, with the same result. No change....... The car has more heat when sitting , but once it moves in the cold outside air it losses it hotness inside. I come from a family that has owned at least 10 900's......Never have seen this before. I am in the Toronto area, and if I lived anywhere near someone on here who wanted to take a crack at this I would gladly pay whatever they wanted. I am too the point where I have just about given up on a warm car this winter. Any ideas would be much appreciated and if someone wants to fix it , I will gladly let someone else do it... Sorry for the extra long post, but I wanted to let people know I have had everything checked that was thought of.... Thanks.....
