Thanks. The air filter has fallen apart & was sucked into the unit.I have a massive vacuum leak which created high idle & I traced to the booster even without pressing the brake pedal you can hear the leaking out the pedal side. Plugged the hole & the idle returns to normal.Little or no assist is present. Hopefully all those dried out pieces didn't get sucked into the intake manifold.
