So I decided to DIY the 4 ball joints this afternoon with help from this board on pointers how-to. Yes I have a Bentley and the Ball Joint Press Tool. I am stuck on my first BJ (the upper driver side)but so far I got all the bolts out and out of the the knuckle, but I can get it out of the upper control arms, it won't fall out of the A Arm. I've used a crew bar and a hammer. I decided to stop and seek pointers on what to do? Afraid of whacking it too hard. Any proven trick to get it out? As always, much appreciated. 1986 Saab 900 Turbo.
