Innovate has a series of gauges that can be daisy chained together so you can datalog all of the inputs together. I've nailed down EGT, AFR, boost, and RPM. Those are just about the minimums for data collection to monitor engine function. As with any monitor device, you pay for quality and therefore, accuracy.
One of the most important factor to consider is the human factor -- gauge placement, and the display. If you end up with needle type gauges, then white background and a red needle helps to see the reading in bright sunlight. I was surprised how well I could see the yellow numbers on the digital gauges. Some of the kits come with a white or black dial face so you can decide what you want to look at.
Did you find a divided downpipe yet? If not you should look up Genuine Saab -- they have all the equipment, and materials to fab up a pipe for your performance goal. More importantly, the quality of fabrication, in terms of construction, welding and assembly shows with High Standard.
