But if I had to take a crap shoot at it, and I will I'd say it's a case of inner driver to tri pod contact that your feeling.
Turning hard right or hard left pulls the tripod out to the very edge of the inner driver. If you were lucky enough to have rebuilt your axels with the empi half shafts Eeuro was selling for 89$ back in the day those axles .. Or at lest the driverside is a half an inch shorter than the oem axle so, that would mean turning hard right the tripod is dam near out of the inner driver.
When's the last time you seriously got up on the car and boosted the hell out of it. Try one or two super hard boosts and see if the car hardly moves forward and all you hear and feel is thud thud thud. If this happens its 100% bad inner drivers
