If you have a 900 with an airbag, based on Poop Deck Pappy's observations (and he's had hands-on experience with a lot more C900s than I), probably. [edit ... I see from your post above, that you have a '93. So you have the airbag. Not a bad idea to have a spare bushing.]
If your car doesn't have an airbag .... maybe.
PDP thinks that the additional mass of the airbag might push the bushing past its design stress causing it to deteriorate and break apart. That seems to be reasonable to me.
I'll find out how much collateral damage I cause (i.e., clockspring) when I replace it this weekend after finishing the top installation.
Are you going to SOC next month? I could pick up an extra for you.
