a-arm spacers

I have the motor out on my '92 vert and while it was out, I took the a-arms out, both sides, to rust proof and paint. Re-installed both springs
w/o spacers. Getting ready to put the motor back in. Question - is this going to be doable w/o the upper a-arm spacers in place.
