The battery to the positive post on the starter : bypassing or supplementing your positive cable.
I am having high resistance on my positive cable that I must change now.. this test is the quick and dirty.
I also dropped in a 14.5 volt voltage regulator.. trick with the foltage regulator was to use vice grips on the screw behind the oil filter (with the oil filter out. I could see it from above.. jsut took me 20 minutes of staring at it before the method.. this was yesterday.
Cleaning up battery connections, regulator, and re-groudning the batery at the frame helped a ton... but still starts much better with that extra jumper cable so I will swap out the positive batter cable now.
