For racing and aggressive street driving, Brad matched up 600 pound springs with the red Konis and set them on the high setting. Eventually the dampening will diminish, and then you would want to increase it, so his reasoning was to go ahead and set the damper on high. After driving that combo, he's right on the money.
The trouble is that they don't make that spring any longer at AFCO in the 8.5 inch high version, only 9.5 so the stiffer springs can't get you lower than perhaps you might want.
We found another outfit that can make any spring we want, now that AFCO is owned by Speedway Motors, it's harder to get them to do anything outside the box, but this other outfit seems willing.
