Vent fan not working after replacing the dash Posted by trich [Email] (#2076) [Profile/Gallery] (more from trich) on Thu, 17 Nov 2016 10:39:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Winter is coming and I need my ventilation fan for heat in my '92 900T! I recently replaced my dash and (I believe) returned all connections to their rightful place but for some reason my ventilation fan for the passenger compartment is no longer working. The fuse is ok, and I checked out the 3 position switch for controlling the fan with an ohmmeter and re-seated the connection. Clearly something beyond the switch to the fan motor is now wrong. Does anyone have experience with this? Is there something obvious I'm not aware of? Did I break some old wiring just by moving it? Are the connections to the ventilation distribution somehow involved? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
