That is a good option if it is a genuine master -- if it was one of the off brands, then those rebuild kits don't have compatible parts.
In any case, if you do decide to change it, then my suggestion is to put a clear hose on the bleed nipple that goes under the car to a container. Open the reservoir and put more fluid than you need in it -- then open the bleed nipple, let it gravity drain out, then you have expelled all the junky black voodoo sauce that will come though. Then, when you reverse bleed the slave, it doesn't push up the black voodoo sauce into your reservoir.
