As it is a convertible, I would opt for an enclosed trailer which will not be the least expensive. Reliable Auto Transport is one of many available.
As you are retired, why not collect the convertible yourself unless it has known issues which you will address. If cost is a concern, ride the dog to CT. Give the car a PPI before you arrive. Reputable & competent shops familiar with Saabs should still be available in that area. I did the same thing maybe ten years ago when I flew to FL. & collected a low mileage '83 900T sedan. Drove it back to Ohio without a glitch with the a/c blowing cold all the way! Good luck.
