No airflow from center vents Posted by McFly88DmC [Email] (#2934) [Profile/Gallery] (more from McFly88DmC) on Tue, 6 Jun 2017 14:15:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The center vents on my '92 900 haven't worked since I wired an auxiliary input into the back of my stereo a year or two ago. I've checked the usual culprits and have reason to believe that one of the vacuum lines has popped off its servo. I have a hunch that it is the one right above the heater core. Problem is, I can't seem to access it. I can feel it through the radio opening, but my elbow is preventing my from reaching further into the depths of the dashboard, not to mention the servo's proximity to the firewall.
Is there an easier way to get to it? I'd rather not take the dash apart since it is crack free aside from some little ones starting at the driver's speaker grill. The vacuum canister's check valve is functioning properly and the rest of the lines seem to be in place.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful. Thanks!
