The torx size is T-45.
It's totally worth investing in a torx bit set as a SAAB owner. I recommend the "Lisle 27200 Torx Bit Set" for ~$25.
Yes, it's as easy as detaching cables and lifting out. Wind the seat all the way back to undo the fronts, then wind it all the way forward to get the rears.
When putting back in, catch all the bolts -- leaving them loose -- then tighten. Otherwise it's hard to align the frame to catch them.
The back bench seat has a spring lock on each side that can be removed with pliers. There's a rod on each side that you tap out with a punch. There is a plastic sleeve over each rod. Be gentle with them for replacement. They eliminate vibration.
