Are you talking about the light brown kinda cardboard 1" diameter air tube? A couple feet long if it's all there. If you are I doubt if half of my cars had that connected. I thought that hose discharges out the top of the side dash vents and is there to give a wash of conditioned air on the door windows to reduce window fogging. With a mix of AC and heat in the winter out of the main dash vents I haven't felt a big need for it. Are you saying you don't have air out the dash vents that defrost the windshield? If so that should be another issue. The tubes that supply that air are short black accordion plastic and 2.5" in diameter. Those black tubes are easily serviced under the dash speakers.
