OEM front rotors

I had a pair of oem rotors (esaab) installed. Also new mintex pads from same place. Supposedly, the last oem rotor set in the USA. However, after only a few months, tons of shaking and my mechanic blames me for getting "chinese" rotors. There is no markings
on the rotors. Are the oem rotors really that bad? Or is it more likely I got some aftermarket rotors in lieu of the real deal?
88 turbo.
