You have 4 studs, nuts & 2 plain flat washers & 2 oddball cam/offset washer/stays. The socket size is 7 or 8 MM. You will need a 1/4" socket drive to avoid driving yourself crazy. Avoid dropping nuts or washers into the body crevases. The seal is quite important, if not positioned & compressed right you will have leaks. I am driving my CV with most of the trunk interior out still chasing one last leak. The leaks will be along the top mostly at a body joint. I eventually used strips of Gorilla tape which fixed the right one; still a minor leak on the left. Am not surprised at 1 hour plus. Actually the hatchback lights are not much easier to seal if that's any solace. You will do well to get a set of metric sockets, combination wrenches & torx drivers. I think all of the screw-type fasteners are torx after '88 or so.
