Which color to go with for convertible top.. Posted by Goblin [Email] (#2224) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Goblin) on Fri, 30 Jul 2021 12:38:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So I have a red 1987 convertible. The color is 127 H. The interior color is ,a-33. I was thinking about replacing the top with the tan top. I would think it would match the interior pretty good along with the tonneau cover. The interior is already that tan color anyway. The original top has been kept down most of its life and I heard that's not very good on them they end up cracking which this one has in a couple of places in the normal spots. I plan on putting this car on saabnet for sale. I have the car completely disassembled it was an automatic I'm putting a five-speed in the car. When I place the ad I was also going to talk about if people wanted the 88 and newer spindles I could also do that while I'm rebuilding the car. So what are your thoughts on building your own Saab. I would even go as far as putting 9000 calipers on which is a huge upgrade in my book. But for people that are looking for originality I know a black top and keeping everything stock would probably be the way to go just trying to get a feel for how I should advertise this car. The reason I pulled the whole thing apart was the automatic transmission was done. Once I get a little bit of feedback from this post I will be putting it up for sale. Thanks any feedbacks appreciated.
