Ko, I'm leaning toward both the elbow and the pump. I've had a couple 16v's with bad elbow check valves but a recent new Walbro pump. With a gauge on the fuel feed line overnight the morning reading would be 0 psi. On start up the gauge would jump up 30+ psi in about 2 seconds. Then start right up. There was definitely a delay in start up but not enough of a bother for me to risk replacing the elbow without all the right tools.
