replacing the upper control arm passenger side Posted by YellowViggen [Email] (#362) [Profile/Gallery] (more from YellowViggen) on Sun, 4 Dec 2022 16:32:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am trying to replace the upper(broken) A-arm in my 1991 SPG on the passenger side. At this point I have the old arm loose but can't pull it through the hole in the inner body because the engine mount is in the way. I will try to remove the mount but wondering whether it is possible to lift the engine just a little to do this? How far can I lift the engine? will it be enough to remove the mount? Please let me know whether this is feasible.
