Being that it was awhile back when you came up with your 9000, we did some painting, worked on brakes, etc, I get it that memories fade, mine included. Like not being able to really pinpoint the color of the binder I gave you, but it was not blue, that is for sure. Since Saab has yellow and blue as colors, my guess is that it was the yellow binder, and being it had Saab 99 on it, I didn't need it right away, so I handed it to you, as you were working on four speeds at the time.
I was hoping to review that yellow manual so I could see other images of the repairs direction, seems like it was instead of photographs, it was illustrations. Like other books that I have loaned out in the past, this is one I wish I had in my hands so I could see the transition differences of your mention of the 1977 gearbox, vs what is in the 900 manual for 4 speed. They are different animals, so I was trying to understand how sprockets applied to a gear drive type primary. You must have either a very very late 1977, or just don't know what you have. Please keep your eye out for that transmission binder, if you didn't give it away, it should stick out like a sore thumb!!
