replacement tank sourced - removal tool on fuel pump? Picked up a 93 3 door fuel tank from a TN boneyard. I was surprised that there were actually 2 of them within 100 miles of me.
Got it cleaned up, and no telltale cracks in the same (or any) area.
When I installed the new fuel pump (2016), I bought both a new O-ring and I thought the special tool to tighten it. Right now I cannot recall where I put that tool? Is there are work around for removing the fuel pump locking ring? I was going to put hot/boiling water on the ring to see if it will loose.... or alternately PB blaster to try and soak into those threads and the big O ring.
Are the O-rings still available? I've considered them "one and done" since they tend to swell with fuel exposure.
