Because the compressor had been sitting in a box on a shelf for more than 20 years I just emptied the oil that was in it and we added the appropriate amount when we added the freon. The compressor is sounding fine my problem now is we've only got 15 oz of fluid in there and the high side number is way too high and the low side number is also High. I still think there's a partial blockage in the condenser or the evaporator because that's what was clogged in the system the first time. I think the little rubber pieces that they had put in the evaporator and then put a plastic cap on it have gotten inside of the system now. May have to completely replace everything now except hopefully the compressor is still okay. I have no idea why a company would shove some sort of rubber plug that they kind of Twisted in there and it literally was falling apart and I was hoping that little pieces didn't get inside the system but it clearly has it was a Nissan condenser and a Four Seasons evaporator. I'm going to change the expansion valve and hope that that's where the clog is since that's the smallest orifice in the system right now fingers crossed.
